Taxidermy

The word taxidermy describes the many methods of creating a life-like three-dimensional representation of an animal for display. In some cases, the skin (feathers, fur etc.) of the specimen is preserved and mounted over an artificial armature. In other cases, the specimen is replicated completely with man-made materials.

The Taxidermy Services I Provide:

Note: All times are approximate.

Large Animals: Time to Complete: 6-12 months Pre-taxidermy Care Straight into freezer if possible. If it cannot be frozen use salt.	Birds/Small Game: Time to Complete: 6-12 months Pre-taxidermy Care Preferably placed head first into a nylon stocking to keep feathers intact. Can be frozen.

Fish: Time to Complete: 6-12 months Storage Instructions Can be frozen. Lay on side you do not want shown. If gutted, gut side you do not want shown.
